Mango Travel is a travel agency selling packages, destinations and departures. We designed and built their site from scratch, and host it.
What We Did: We designed the site and built it in WordPress with Elementor Pro and Advanced Custom Fields. A travel agency’s content is the hard part. Offers change by season, a destination can carry several departures, and each departure has its own dates, prices and terms. Building that as regular pages means somebody rebuilds a layout every time an offer changes. Instead the site runs on custom post types with ACF field groups behind them, structured so destinations, packages and departures relate to one another rather than existing as separate pages that need manual cross-linking. The agency adds a new offer through defined fields and it appears everywhere it should. Hotel availability comes from elsewhere. The agency uses a third-party booking system for live availability by location, embedded on the page, so those results come from the reservation platform rather than from WordPress. The two sit alongside one another without the visitor needing to notice which is which. The build is fully responsive across devices.
The Result: Design, build and launch in four months, on a structure the agency updates through fields rather than page layouts. Hosting is handled on our side.
Mango Travel is also featured in our travel and tourism case study.
