Valerie Schmaltz is a Canadian politician. The site needed to introduce her platform to constituents and give them a straightforward way to find where she stands on things – no existing site to build on.

What We Did: Design and development were both ours, built in Divi from the ground up. A politician’s site has an unusual reading pattern: most visitors arrive with one specific question and leave as soon as they have the answer. That shaped the structure more than anything else. Positions and initiatives are surfaced early rather than buried under biography, and the landing page is organised around what a constituent is likely looking for instead of a chronological career summary.

Divi’s stock sections didn’t cover the layout, so a good part of the page is custom-built – sections, spacing and responsive behaviour written to follow the design rather than the theme’s defaults.

The Result: A site delivered in four months, from first design pass to launch.
