Voden.rs already had a stable, functional e-commerce website when their team reached out. They were looking for a more modern look, faster loading times, a smoother navigation experience, and a scalable foundation for regional market expansion. Through strategic redesign, UX improvements, and performance optimization, we helped Voden achieve a 70% increase in sales within just a few weeks of the relaunch.
While the site was technically functional, several limitations were holding it back and needed to be addressed to improve user experience and drive measurable business results.
Key challenges:
– More than 40 plugins bloating performance and complicating maintenance
– PageSpeed scores as low as 16 on mobile and 69 on desktop
– Inconsistent design components and limited flexibility in product displays
– Lack of infrastructure to support easy scaling across regional domains
We started with a complete site audit and a Figma redesign plan covering every key template.
The homepage, category pages, product pages, and blog were rebuilt to create a modern, consistent experience.
Product variations, including color and quantity, were custom built without relying on external plugins.
Sticky add to cart, a sidebar cart, comparison tables, installation video tabs, popups, and mobile first layouts were added.
A visual system was created and replicated across the HR, BA, MK, and ME websites.
Unused plugins were removed, and loading speed was significantly optimized.

Luka co-founded Santos Digital with Milan one year after completing his studies, following several roles at web development agencies where he built his foundation in WordPress, project delivery and client work.
Having worked across nearly every role inside Santos Digital, he now focuses on technical direction, team leadership, sales and agency growth. He combines a strong understanding of business goals with practical technical solutions, helping the team deliver projects that are clear, scalable and built around what clients actually need.
Sandra Novakoviฤ akka Naka is a multidisciplinary UX/UI Designer with a background in graphic design and a passion for creating thoughtful digital experiences. She began her career while still studying, starting as a graphic designer before discovering her interest in UX/UI and product design. In 2018, she expanded her focus into digital products and has continued building her expertise ever since.
She met Luka early in her career and joined him and Milan from the very beginning in building Santos Digital. Since then, she has designed websites, digital platforms, mobile applications, branding, and visual identity systems, working across a wide range of industries and helping businesses turn ideas into intuitive, user-focused products.
Stevan is a WordPress Developer with over eight years of experience building corporate websites, landing pages, WooCommerce stores, and custom business solutions. He specializes in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, implementing advanced functionality with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and working with Elementor and Divi page builders. His focus is on creating fast, secure, and maintainable websites while collaborating closely with designers, SEO specialists, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
Mihajlo is a web developer at Santos Digital, building and maintaining WordPress sites for clients across a wide range of industries. He’s typically involved from the initial build through integrations, fixes, and everything that follows launch.
He has a particular interest in the problems that don’t have an obvious off-the-shelf solution, the parts of a brief that call for something built rather than configured.
