Fort Point Labs is a life science leasing site for a building in Boston’s Fort Point district. The design came from the client’s creative team; we built it on WordPress with a fully ACF-driven structure.
The Brief: The design was finished and approved before we came in. Our job was a faithful implementation, one that held the visual weight of large-format architectural renderings while staying editable by a leasing team with no development support. That ruled out a page builder. Leasing content changes often, and a builder-based layout breaks under non-technical editing.
What We Built: We developed the site on WordPress using Advanced Custom Fields, with every section built as a structured ACF block. Floorplans, amenities, neighbourhood and contact each run on their own field group, so the client updates content through defined fields rather than free-form layout. The build handles full-width architectural renderings without sacrificing load performance, and supports downloadable assets, technical specs and the leasing brochure, through the same field structure. Custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript were used where interactions sat outside standard theme behaviour.
The Result: A build with no page builder overhead and no third-party plugin dependencies for core content. The leasing team updates the site through defined ACF fields, and the layout holds regardless of what they enter.
