Tiernan Travel is a family-owned destination management company running private, culturally led journeys across Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. We redesigned their site and have stayed on since.
What We Did: We designed the site and rebuilt it in WordPress with Elementor. Luxury travel sells on imagery, but imagery is also what makes travel sites slow. The build had to carry large photography across destination and itinerary pages without the page load undercutting the impression the photography is there to create. The structure separates destinations, itineraries and the bespoke planning process, so a visitor can move from browsing a country to enquiring about a trip without backtracking.
Ongoing Work: Since the redesign we have worked with Tiernan Travel on a retainer, refreshing existing pages and building new ones as the offering expands.
The Result: A two-year collaboration covering design, redesign and continuous development.
